The International Crane Stakeholders Assembly has agreed to develop a new lifting plan guidance document.
The issue was proposed by the Crane Industry Council of Australia (CICA) and discussed at the latest ICSA meeting held in Munich during the Bauma exhibition in October.
Both ESTA and the SC&RA – the US-based Specialized Carriers and Rigging Association – agreed to share relevant information from their markets.
The meeting also discussed how to boost the number of women employed in the industry and agreed that the priority is the creation of safe working places.
